Public Housing Developments

The Public Housing Program provides decent, safe, and sanitary housing for income eligible families. Rents are subsidized by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and are also based on family household income. The Quincy Housing Authority (QHA) manages 4 public housing developments in the City of Quincy: Indian Hills Apartments, Lampe Hi Rise, Cherry Street Apartments, and the 29th Street Apartments. Indian Hills is a family site while the remaining developments are reserved for seniors and/or persons with disabilities. Unit sizes range from 1 to 4 bedrooms.

Indian Hills Housing

Located at 5th Street and Harrison, Indian Hills is is our biggest community featuring 200 units ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms. Indian Hills is located near Quincy’s South Side German Historic District and is across the street from Indian Mounds Pool.

29th Street

Our 29th Street and Broadway location is found in the center of Quincy and contains 42 apartments. It is in a quiet and accessible location, and is ideally located to access the numerous retail and dining on the east side of Quincy.

Lampe Hi-Rise

Lampe Hi-Rise, located at 5th Street and Broadway, contains 103 units and is featured by two elevators. Right on the edge of Downtown Quincy, Lampe offers a great view of the Mississippi River and is close to countless businesses, restaurants, and area activities.
