The Quincy Housing Authority is committed to being a leader in providing safe, affordable, quality housing to income eligible persons and families in Quincy, Illinois.
Public Housing
The Quincy Housing Authority (QHA) manages 4 public housing developments in the City of Quincy: Indian Hills Apartments, Lampe Hi Rise, Cherry Street Apartments, and the 29th Street Apartments.
Project based Voucher System
The Quincy Housing Authority administers Project Based Vouchers for two sites in Quincy: Frederick Ball Apartments and Country Club Heights. These are essentially Section 8 vouchers that are used only for housing at the two locations. The voucher cannot be used at any other location. Eligibility is the same as the regular Section 8 program.
